We're looking for a visionary Tech Lead who can deliver exceptional technical leadership and, with outstanding results, grow into our CTO with equity ownership!
Your Role & Impact:
- Lead technical strategy and architectural decisions for our cutting-edge telemetry platform
- Hands-on development and oversight of both front-end (Electron, React.js, Next.js, d3.js, three.js) and back-end (Node.js, Nest.js, Firebase, Google Cloud)
- Ensure scalability, performance, and robustness of the RACEMAKE ecosystem
- Mentor and manage a growing team of developers, fostering an environment of continuous learning and innovation
- Collaborate closely with product management, UX/UI designers, and stakeholders to translate vision into impactful technical solutions
- Contribute directly to RACEMAKE’s growth strategy, shaping the technological roadmap to match our ambitions
Who You Are:
- Senior-level experience as a full-stack developer with deep expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, React.js, Next.js, Node.js, and Nest.js
- Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform, PostgreSQL, Firebase, and RESTful API design
- Proven track record in leadership roles, successfully guiding tech teams and complex projects
- Comfortable with data visualization tools like d3.js and three.js
- Exceptional ability to balance technical excellence with strategic business needs
- Fluent in English (Czech or Slovak is a bonus!)
- A dynamic, proactive, and strategic thinker with ambition to lead and influence as part of a fast-growing startup
Bonus Points:
- Passion or experience in sim racing, esports, or motorsports
- Previous experience with Electron or desktop application development
- Understanding of telemetry, data analysis, or racing simulation software (ACC, iRacing, rFactor 2, Assetto Corsa)
